On this page I'm going to write about how I recorded my songs during the period between 2003 and early 2005 but before I do that,
I'd like to thank everyone involved in my recording projects.
Of course a very special thanks has to go out to Henry Falco of
He is the master of the universe and Musical Producer/Engineer extraordinaire!
Henry not only showed me what was possible, but he made the impossible reality.
I'd like to thank all the musicians who helped me through the sessions in the past year.
I really appreciate all of your help and superb musicianship.
I could not have done any of this without the support and love of my wife Valerie.
She is my inspiration and will always be my only love.
I'd like to name all the musicians I was privileged to have
perform during some great sessions for my first two independently released CDs:
Tom DiVito -- Drums
Greg Deppe -- Piano/Organ
Tommy Edwards -- Bass/Vocals
Gary Randazzo-- Drums
Bob Wright -- Bango
Henry Falco -- Percussion/Vocals
Mark Farell -- Fiddle
Alex Mahoney -- Saxaphone
I'd like to also thank all the musicians who played on the I'm Coming Home CD back in 2003:
Tom DeVito -- Drums
Nichole Wright -- Vocals
Richard Chodes -- Bass
Gary Randazzo -- Drums
Steve Paskell -- Bass
Joe Cascio --- Piano/Organ
Recording Demos
I record song ideas all the time. Even if they are just fragments of an idea. I used to use an old tape recorder to record demos.
There are now so many different devices to record demos that it is quite easy to put down a song idea.
This is a demo of one of my song "On The Steps Of Saint Joseph's, that I wrote back in 2005.
A very rough demo, but I like keeping track of the songs I write with an idea of an arrangment.
On The Steps Of Saint Joseph's - Demo
Here's another demo of a song I wrote called, "Christmas Time On 42nd Street."
Christmas Time On 42nd Street - Demo
Copyright Guy Michetti - 2009 BMI
I never knew what I was looking for
But I knew when you walked through that door
That I was never gonna be with anybody else
Found another soul just like myself
Same Life Same Time
Same Heart Same Beat
And it was Christmas Time On 42nd Street
Now Christmas time is here again
And every taxi driver I meet calls me my friend
Cathedral bells are ringing for the sleepless vagabonds
Time when the rich and the poor can see they're one
Same Life Same Time
Same Heart Same Beat
And it was Christmas Time On 42nd Street
Now people in the world know what they're looking for
